Another study linking diet to infertility was published recently in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. The young men in the study, around 20 years of age, were then divided into four groups depending upon how much their caloric intake came from saturated fat. The researchers compared how much sperm each of the men in the groups produced.

There may be yet another reason [than fat alone] for men to forego cheese when ordering their next burger. A new study conducted at The Harvard School of Public Health in Boston recently revealed that consuming cheese, yogurt and other full-fat dairy products may be linked to male infertility.

Dr. Jaime Knopman has issued a response to Heather MaGee of The Huffington Post in regards to her September 3rd, 2012 blog entry entitled “Should I Freeze My Eggs?” Her response is as followed:

It is quite timely that I came across this post during this election season, where a woman’s right to choose is an important topic of discussion. Constantly hearing the words choice and reproduction together got me thinking about what women’s “reproductive rights” and “freedom of choice” really means. Shouldn’t reproductive choice also include the ultimate reproductive choice; the ability to bear a child when she is ready?
