Egg Freezing Event: Take Control of Your Fertility

The event will include a panel presentation and discussion of female fertility and the powerful option of egg freezing. It will cover the medical and practical aspects of freezing eggs and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask individual questions.

The discussion will be led by Dr. Eric Flisser, board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist. Dr. Flisser is the Medical Director of RMA of New York – Long Island, and sees patients in the Long Island and Manhattan offices. Dr. Flisser specializes in advanced reproductive technologies such as IVF and egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation).

There are numerous ways obstetricians can estimate the “gestational age,” or how far along in pregnancy a woman is, and use that information to calculate the estimated delivery date, some methods are quite technologically advanced, and some very simple.

The decision to pursue assisted reproduction using donor eggs is an emotional, and often, difficult decision to make. Once the decision is make, how does one choose an appropriate donor?

In vitro fertilization has largely owed its success to the selection of a few top-quality embryos from a larger group of embryos developing in a laboratory environment, so without injectables, is the outcome the same?
