Determining the cause or causes of infertility will help your physician create a treatment plan that has the best opportunity for success, using the least invasive treatment options. 

  • ~50% of infertility is female factor related, which includes problems with the fallopian tubes, uterine cavity, ovulatory disorders, endometriosis, etc.
  • ~35% of infertility is male factor related
  • ~10% of infertility challenges are never fully diagnosed
  • ~5% of infertility challenges are due to other causes such as chromosomal abnormalities or chemotherapy induced infertility
